Lawson Group through to finals of World Demolition Awards

Nationwide demolition and asbestos removal specialists Lawson Group Ltd were delighted to announce that the company’s work in Newport, Gwent was short listed in the category of ‘Contract of the Year’ at this year’s World Demolition Awards 2010.

We take a huge amount of pride in our work and strive to achieve the highest possible industry standards in all that we do for our Clients. The project that we carried out for Taylor Wimpey in Newport was one of our largest in 2009/2010, where we were not only able to bring employment to the local area, but also help to improve it by creating space for new housing. We have worked on a variety of projects in and around South Wales, including the current demolition works we are carrying out at the former Billybanks Estate in Penarth.”

Lawson Group were one of only three UK companies to be commended in this category, which comprised of only six selected projects from around the world.
